Learn how a typical Candian home can contain child labour. Click items in each room to discover the truth behind each product.
You're familiar with every part of your home, from the dent in the basement wall to the squeak on the third stair. It's the place where your family builds memories. What you may not expect to find in your home are items made by children. From coffee to linens to toys, Canadians unknowingly bring products into their homes every day that are made by children. Come inside the average Canadian home to see for yourself how child labour infiltrates our everyday lives.
I am asking the Government of Canada to help protect children around the world by creating legislation that will require large companies who operate in Canada to publicly report on their efforts to monitor, address, and prevent child labour in their supply chains on a yearly basis.
